
George Hall specialises in advising on public policy and governmental affairs, with a focus on the EU and its relationships with global trading partners. He has been involved in EU affairs since 1973 and has carved out a career both in the public and private sector as a UK diplomat and as senior executive in a major UK company. This high level of experience and expertise means George delivers an unprecedented level of well-rounded strategic advice.
George has, at various times, represented the IT industry in european and global forums, such as chairing the UNICE Information Society Steering Committee in Brussels. He was a founding board member of EICTA, and was EU issue manager on eCommerce in the Trans Atlantic Business Dialogue (TABD) as well as a member of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee of the OECD. He is also on the Executive Committee of the Broadband Stakeholder Group, a public/private partnership that advises the UK Government on broadband policy.
George is a member of the Royal Institute for International Affairs (Chatham House).
